"Waiting in Joy-Filled Hope" -- 2019 Advent Day of Reflection for Women

Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross

Advent is a time of joyful waiting. During our day of reflection we'll turn to Scripture and study the first Advent people. Then, we'll fast-forward 800 years to  St. Francis of Assisi,  creator of the  first Christmas crèche.  Finally, we'll practice the ancient prayer of lectio divina -- perfect for this time of preparing for the birth of our Savior!
