I have been blessed with a life full of faith, friends and family. My husband, Ron, and I raised five children. He died of cancer in 2016. We also have 16 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
I have belonged to St. Louis Parish in Dyckesville for more than 50 years. I am involved with human concerns ministry, altar ministry, and I help where help is needed.
I have been a hairdresser all of my life. It gives me the opportunity to do what I love – style hair, visit with clients, and listen. I consider this my hobby job because it helps me stay connected with clients and community.
Now feels like the right time in my life to grow in prayer as an Associate with the Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross. All of the Sisters and Associates have been so easy to get to know, so warm and friendly, and the Community always has been near and dear to my heart because my sister, Lucy Andre, was in the Order.
