WomenAndSpirit"Women & Spirit: Catholic Sisters in America" is an exhibit that has been traveling to museums across the country offering the public an opportunity to hear, read and see an untold story in American history. The exhibit shows how Sisters played a vital role in shaping American life from before the earliest days of the republic and throughout its history.

To complement this exhibit, the Leadership Conference of Women Religious has produced a one-hour documentary. Narrated by National Public Radio senior news analyst and ABC news political commentator Cokie Roberts, the documentary tells of the courage, determination and self-sacrifice with which these women responded to the needs of the times during many dramatic moments in U.S. history.

We have shared this informative and inspiring DVD with several groups and want to offer you the opportunity to view it. We will host two showings of the DVD at our Motherhouse: Thursday, Sept. 27, and Sunday, Oct. 14, both from 2 to 4 p.m. Due to limited seating, reservations are needed. Call 920-468-1828 if you would like to attend.

This brochure offers greater detail about the project's video and exhibit.  You are sure to be inspired!
