Sister Jeanne Jarvis (black blazer) and Sister Carlotta Ullmer (white blazer) were honored in August 2013 when Literacy Green Bay dedicated and renamed a tutoring room as the Sisters' Study Hall.
Since 1986, these Sisters have volunteered more than 20,000 hours and helped more than 100 people in the English as a Second Language program. "What makes them truly special is not the total number of hours they have tutored or the number of years they have spent volunteering, but the spirit with which they have tutored," says Kathy Cornell, executive director of Literacy Green Bay (center). "They are admired and respected by all our other tutors, staff and friends."
