Vision Statement

As Associates of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross, we embrace the community’s mission statement of Gospel living.

Through this relationship with the Sisters and each other, we use our gifts to further witness the Bay Settlement charism and values in our own particular area of ministry.

We support the endeavors of the Sisters and each other as we work together to further the reign of God.

Associate Joan Jadin

Joan, wife, mother and grandmother finds her greatest delight to be with her growing family. She serves as a lector at Holy Cross Church, Bay Settlement. She and her husband Norb, also an Associate, established a Heritage Room at the church depicting the ties between Holy Cross Parish and our community -- the Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross. Joan also finds creative and thoughtful ways to reach out to neighbors and the bereaved.

"As an Associate, my life has been enriched by the dedication and example of God's love shown by the Sisters and other Associates. The retreats and prayer gatherings fill me with a sense of God's presence. All of this fills me with a spirit of God's love to share with whomever I meet."
