Creation Care Prayer as Summer Begins
The summer sun is upon us.
Thank you, Lord: we see the world You created is "good" (Genesis 1:28-31).
You call us to be faithful stewards of the resources and gifts given in creation. You invite us to share in Your love and appreciation for all in the world.
Help us to transform our lives as a people in community with You. We know we must transform through sacrifice, worship, action, and prayer.
Help all of us to adopt lifestyles that demonstrates a commitment to Your creation and to the next generation.
Help us as individuals to love our neighbors, nearby and around the world, through the caring ways we treat Your creation.
Help us all to be generous with our resources toward those in need, and committed to protect vulnerable communities from environmental harms.
