Young women are invited to ‘Opening Doors’ weekend

The Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross are inviting women 18-30 years old to spend a weekend experiencing life as a Sister.

Sister Laura Zelten, Vocations Director, will host guests for the "Opening Doors" retreat, which will be from 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, to mid-day Sunday, Dec. 11, at the Sisters' home, 3110 Nicolet Dr., Green Bay. The weekend will include time to discuss God's intention for each person, life as a Sister, what it means to be Franciscan, and who the Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross are. Prayer time will include Sunday Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, personal prayer and communal prayer with the Sisters.
